The Burger Disco Members' Club (here after called “the Club”), and the Club Membership subscriber (here after called “the Club Member”), both acknowledge and mutually agree to the following seven points describing the club's philosophy, policy, terms and conditions of use:

1. About Club Memberships

​Club Memberships run under annual subscriptions, become active from the day of approval, and stay active for a period of 12 months. The Club's annual events calendar is published on the website (you can check it out here).

The process to apply for a Club Membership is easy:

​

1. Sign up to apply for a member's account. It is totally free of any charges.  

2. Upon approval, you become a Qualified Club Member(QCM); meaning you have earned the right to purchase a Club Membership plan and become an Official Club Member(OCM).

3. The right to purchase a Club Membership plan remains valid for a period of 30 days. It is more than plenty of time for a QCM to decide whether he/she wants to join the club or not.

4. During the afore mentioned time, the Club may ask you to provide additional information regarding the authentication of your account so to meet the qualification standards.  

5. On the day you select one of the available membership plans*, your QCM (Qualified Club Member) account immediately turns into an active OCM (Official Club Member) account. You are now "in" the club.

6. If you don't purchase a Club Membership within the period of 30 days, your QCM (Qualified Club Member) account turns into an NSA (Newsletter Subscriber Account). You will keep receiving news from the club, with the right to opt out at any given time, no questions asked.

Please note:

​​

• ​Each Club Membership tier is of limited availability, associated with numbered, physical slots, and is connected with certain benefits and perks.​

• Each membership reserves one slot. Each slot is connected with one, unique, authenticated human entity, a person.

• When the number of Club Memberships reach the maximum capacity, a Club Membership must be cancelled for a new slot to open and a new person to join. 

• Please notice, benefits regarding discounted tickets in particular, do apply to all tickets except the ones including the cost of a drink (minimum consumption tickets).

2. Set up fee

​

• The set up fee is expected to range from 10 to 20 euros and covers the cost of printing each Club Member's personal physical ID card plus a start up pack with surprise merch - perks.    

• Do notice though that the first 100 memberships regardless the tier, will NOT be charged with a set up fee. Yes, first 100 are free of any set up fee charges.

• So if you are thinking about becoming a BDC Club Member seriously, maybe now is the time to do it.

3. Inactive Memberships

The Club withholds the right to deny, neutralise, cancel, or discontinue a membership in case of a prolonged inactivity period, consenting to a lack of use of the exclusive benefits associated with the subscription (eg. zero attendance to the club's events).​​

A prolonged inactivity period is considered any period a Club Membership remains inactive, given this period lasts no less than 45 calendar days. ​​

​​

In case of cancellation of a Club Membership due to complete inactivity(zero use), a full reimbursement will be issued to the the Club Member by the Club.​

​​

The reimbursement should exclude any costs additional to the net price of the Club Membership, such as third party transaction or commission fees (usually counting for as low as 5-7% of the total price paid for a subscription).

4. Termination of Club Membership

The Club can immediately terminate a membership in case of a breach or violation of its rules and regulations, misuse of the Club’s benefits, or deliberate direct or indirect attempt to fraud.

​​​

In such a case, an official letter will be issued by the Club to the Club Member, explaining the reasons leading to the termination of the membership along an outline of any fees associated with the particular case, if any.

​​​

The Club Member has the right to object in written within five (5) working days and receive a reply upon revision of the objection.

​

A recorded hearing session joined by the Club’s stakeholders (like other club members or persons involved to a specific incident directly linked with the case), may be initiated by the Club, in order to decide on the objection’s result, righteously.  

​

5. Club Member's Withdrawal Rights 

The Club Member can cancel his/her subscription anytime.

​

In the case of a cancellation, the now-former Club Member cannot re-apply to join the same or a lower tier, earlier than the ending date of the original subscription.

​

The Club Member can still apply for a higher tier, at any given time, let that be considered an upgrade.

​

Exception to the afore rule referring to the withdrawal rights as stated here in, may occur in the case a Club Member provides reasonable information regarding unexpected, “force majeure” occurrences leading to the event of an unwanted cancellation.

​

Such reasons could be anything causing unpredictable changes to the Club member’s personal life, like living the country for an extended period of time, family affairs, health condition, unexpected financial difficulties, and so on.

 

In that case, the Club Membership may be put on hold "get frozen" for a reasonable period of time and up to six (6) months.

Each Club Membership comes with a 30 day money-back guarantee, no questions asked.

In the case of withdrawing from a Club Membership within 30 days, the same rules apply as described in paragraph 5, here afore.

7. Code of Conduct - Safe Space Awareness  

Please make sure you have read the Code of Conduct following below, as it is inseparable part of the Club’s Policy, Rules, and Regulations, regardless if one is a Club Member or not.

Therefore, people of all ages, genders, socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual orientations, abilities, and faiths should have equal access to Burger Disco Club (BDC) resources.

Building communities and bringing attention to marginalised artists and groups thus encouraging and amplifying their vision towards a better understanding of all life's kingdoms and the world as one, is central to BDC's mission.

BDC maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of favoritism, insulting language, discrimination, abuse, marginalisation, and background-based biases and prejudices, including but not limited to sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, caste, disability, and age. Sexism, racism, colorism, homophobia, biphobia, interphobia, and transphobia are all unacceptable forms of prejudice; as are hostility, antisemitism, Islamophobia, Christianophobia, religionphobia in general, politicophobia, fascism, age discrimination, and ableism, in addition to other forms of intersectional and other forms of discrimination.

 

We are not a-politic, but we do support the humanitarian causes and acts of individual, social, and human rights regardless if they are driven by a political set of values or not. We rely and trust the common sense of Truth as it is shape by the club attendants and further more, discussed and agreed by the OCMs (Official Club Members). We  choose to live politics and any discriminative symbols aside when it comes to music and love.

Dance floor space

Dance floor is a healing space. Dance floor belongs to the dancers. Respect the dancers.

Standing and staring at the others dancing while on the dance floor, is something we will kindly ask you to help us eliminate.

Talking loud, and engaging in long conversations on the dance floor is a no go.

The use of mobile phones is not allowed on the dance floor.

If you want to take pictures, videos, or discuss about anything that may concerns you, do step out of the dance floor first.  

Help you, your friends, the DJ and the club community, to keep the dance floor's space energy uplifting and pure.

Symbols and symbolisms

We choose to remain indifferent to the view of any symbols, symbolisms and symbolic actions.

 

We welcome the freedom of expression and more significantly the artistic value of radical self expression as it encourages the acceptance of a diversified society, up to the point those symbols, symbolisms and symbolic actions do not become provocative, challenge peace, unity and love either deliberately, led by motives of selfishness and hate, or unwillingly, led by unawareness, which we recognise as an attenuating circumstance.

Moreover, BDC strictly prohibits any form of violence, abuse, or harassment—whether verbal, physical, sexual, or otherwise—directed at its members, attendees, guests, partners, or staff. 

 

BDC retains the authority to revoke service and impose access restrictions on any individuals or entities that violate the Code of Conduct.

 

We recognise that the BDC Code of Conduct is a work in progress, enhanced by the constructive dialogue and enjoyment of all parties involved, starting with the OCMs (Official Club Members).

Awareness Team

 

At BDC events and in the course of everyday business, the Awareness Team, most usually consisted of Club Members, is available to attendees in order to hear them out, comprehend their situations, and offer advice while maintaining their anonymity at all times. 

 

The person who is seeking advice can make a request to the Awareness Team to consult about possible measures that could be taken in response to their situation. 

 

The BDC is in charge of carrying out these steps. 

 

People who see, experience, or are affected by discrimination as described in the Code of Conduct can use the service. 

 

We appreciate your help and invite all listeners, guests, partners, club members, and staff to notify the Awareness Team of any suspicious activity leading to exclusion or discrimination.
